START 2 CARE
Everyone of us has been in the mud at some stage in our lives.
We need to Start 2 Care: About each other and, solving some of the social issues that are hurting people.
Covid-19 changed our worldviews both individually and collectively. If Covid-19 has taught us one thing, it is that we have to care for each other. Our Businesses, our communities, our families depend upon it.
It means taking a totally 360 view of how behaviours such as workplace bullying, financial abuse, workplace harassment, ethical violations, gender abuse occur in the first place and the impact on mental health. These things can morally injure people and cause immense mental health harm and fracture people's lives.
We have to eradicate these cultures of victim-blaming and denial and dismissal, because there are so many structures in our society, both in terms of social attitudes and institutions, that enable predatory behaviour. We must encourage and normalise the act of speaking out, because lived experience informs structural change and social change.
That means hearing the stories of the survivors and ensuring the shame lies with the perpetrators. This also means recognising the harm done to the victim's mental health and being determined to support them to wellness.
How do we solve this?
We unlock human potential by ending the stress and psychological trauma of behaviours that injure.
Start2Care talks to companies and individuals about sustainable, science-based solutions to enhance both mental and physical well-being and performance, purpose and relationship with technology. We are committed to accelerating this culture shift around the world.

"Leadership is about compassionate care and taking responsibility for the communities we operate within. No longer is it just about shareholder profit. Those who focus on transactions at the expense of relationships and social capital issues will fail as we rebuild our world." Kathie Melocco
MEET KATHIE MELOCCO
Kathie's story is inspiring. She talks to Mental health, workplace harassment and bullying, domestic violence, gender equity, and workplace injury. But most of all she talks to the intersecting systems that allowed it to occur. We all have a role in keeping people safe and delivering compassionate care, no matter our role. Leadership starts with YOU. Self Care starts with YOU. The two are interwoven. There is no health without mental health.
